The powerhouse

The company The company

Part of something
Bigger

Together, we create plastic solutions that are indispensable in a wide range of industries. Sometimes they are only very small, but they are always part of something big. This means that every grain of plastic that we process has the potential to change everything. This is how we make the world lighter, more stable, more sustainable – and a little bit better with every solution. Because we make sure that ourCO2 footprint is as small as possible and that our innovations are as powerful as possible.

We always make the impossible possible. Because we work differently. In partnership, holistically and with the courage to take on any challenge – whether it’s a simple plastic part or a highly complex assembly. This allows us to grow with every project – and almost always to surpass ourselves.

Our mission statement

We shape progress in our world. With perfect plastic solutions. In doing so, we follow a clear vision. And every day we live the values that make us who we are.

What is also close to our hearts

  • Werthmann workshops
  • Christmas in a shoebox
  • Donations & Integration
  • In collaboration with Werthmann Werkstätten, we are committed to the modern inclusion of people with disabilities. By making them fit for working life and everyday life, we give them a real perspective – the chance of an independent life, a bit of normality and appreciation.

We have 3 employees from the Werthmann workshops shaping the future. The workshops also support us in assembling items from contract work and in gardening and landscaping work. But much more important is what we learn from them. They enrich our team and our day-to-day work with so much gratitude and dedication.

  • Christmas without children’s laughter? A terrible idea for us. That’s why we bring a smile to the faces of children in need. By taking part in the “Christmas in a shoebox” campaign run by the aid organization “Operation Christmas Child” – every Christmas we pack parcels with school supplies, hygiene articles, sweets and toys.

We have been the official collection point for this campaign since 2023. If you would like to take part, please bring your parcel to us from mid-October to mid-November. We’ll make sure it gets to the right place.

  • We regularly support associations, kindergartens and victims of environmental disasters with donations in kind and money. We have also provided donations and storage space to help the Ukraine.

In addition to our involvement with the Werthmann workshops, we are also committed to helping refugees. By offering them a new perspective with us.

Our milestones

1973

Heinrich Brill built up a second mainstay with the first injection molding machine in a small garage in Lennestadt. This was because the timber business at his sawmill was beginning to deteriorate.

1975

Heinrich Brill’s son Karl-Ludwig Brill (businessman) and Harald Adloff (tool mechanic) take over the machines and found the company brill+adloff Kunststoff- & Werkzeugtechnik.

1977

We build our first production hall and continue to expand the company structures.

1983

We move: from the garage to our first own production hall with toolmaking.

1987

We enter the large machine sector and integrate the first 500 t, 650 t and 800 t machines into our machine park.

1989

The first all-electric injection molding machine in the whole of North Rhine-Westphalia moves into our production facility.

1998

We are recognized for the first time as an Excellence Partner for outstanding quality and delivery reliability.

2005

Our machinery is modernized, expanded and automated, for example with our first 5-axis robots.

2007

We are moving into 2K and 3K technology.

2012

We build a new, state-of-the-art production hall and expand our machinery. We also purchase a further 16,000m2 of industrial space.

2019

Our management is divided into a commercial and a technical division in order to act in an even more targeted manner. In this way, we also create the conditions for brill+adloff to remain a family business.

2020

We are also entering the large machine sector in 2K technology with 5,500 kN.

2021

The design phase of the brill+adloff technical center begins.

2023

We start with the construction of a further 2,500m2 of production space.
